HandyFeeling Update — October 13, 2022
You'll notice that HandyFeeling has changed — and we hope for the better!
This change comes as part of our release of our Handyverse app for iOS and Android. HandyFeeling now becomes a parallel experience to the app, which is to say that it has almost the same functionality.
All the previous features like remote control, random stroker, and local video playback are still there. But on top of this, we've added a massive quality of life feature with the introduction of Handy configuration over WebBLE. This means that if your computer has Bluetooth functionality (for instance, a laptop or a desktop computer with a Bluetooth attachment), you can now connect to your Handy using HandyFeeling using the Configure Handy feature. That said, WebBLE has limited availability and we recommend using a Chromium-based browser when using this feature.
This release opens up new avenues for us to explore novel ways of connectivity for the Handy and there's a lot of things to come. We hope you'll be with us for the journey!
HandyFeeling Update — March 18, 2022
HandyFeeling has been updated to use our latest API. You won't see many visual changes, but you should notice better reactivity between HandyFeeling and your Handy.
However, as a consequence of this, we will be sunsetting Firmware 2 because it is incompatible with the new API. You will still be able to update your firmware to the latest version.
If you're interested in developing for the Handy or integrating Handy with your content, you can take a look at our developer documentation.
HandyFeeling Update — November 19, 2021
We have reworked HandyFeeling firmware update notifications to be a little more subtle. You will now see a small banner notifying you that an update is available for your Handy when opening the connection menu. The button will take you to the new update page, which contains the release notes for the latest update.
